This is StrongLite: the new generation of aluminium. StrongLite undergoes three additional rolling steps, with extra magnesium added. This process makes the aluminium stronger and allows for thinner applications while maintaining its mechanical properties. Exterior walls of vehicles can be made as thin as just 0.7 mm. The process also leads to increased tensile and yield strength, providing greater resistance to cracking, breaking, and dents. The result is a lighter wall without compromise.

Increase strength while reducing weight with StrongLite. Compared to standard aluminium alloys, StrongLite results in a wall that is up to 15% lighter. Lower weight contributes to cost savings, and makes StrongLite a sustainable solution for the mobility needs of today and tomorrow: vehicles become more environmentally friendly without compromising on the quality of the wall. 

In absolute terms, weight savings range from 13 kg to 37 kg per vehicle. With over 40% recycled aluminium content, StrongLite offers an approximate 85% lower CO₂ footprint compared to plastics. That way we make a serious difference together.

Rather than using conventional 0.8 mm aluminium, StrongLite enables the use of 0.7 mm for the exterior walls of RVs while maintaining its mechanical properties. Additionally, StrongLite offers new possibilities for the roof, allowing you to create a lighter roof while keeping the construction in perfect balance. Other application areas are back panels, doors, hatches, and interior elements.
