HR Business Partner​

Euramax Coated Products is a premium coil coating company, whose core process is coating mainly aluminum and galvanized steel coils. Euramax serves customers worldwide in the market for recreational vehicles, transport and facades. U.S coated aluminum is used, among other things, for aesthetically prominent facades, side panels in caravans/campers, roofs in buses/trucks and for train floor panels. Euramax has production facilities in the Netherlands and the UK and supports customers outside Europe with sales offices in China and the Middle East. Euramax Coated Products has been around for more than 50 years and has a growing workforce of approximately 220 employees.

The HR department is responsible for developing, leading and implementing the ‘People’- strategy for Euramax. The department provides support and direction to members of the Management Team in designing and implementing HR strategy and plans that performance, engagement and retention will improve. In addition, the department is responsible for the operational HR processes.

To strengthen our HR department, we are looking for the (new) position of:

HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner plays a crucial role in the roll-out of the ‘People’ strategy. The HR Business Partner provides support to the HR Director, the Management Team and executives in the implementing this strategy. The HR Business Partner is closely involved in various HR improvement projects and a number of these projects will be led by the HR Business Partner himself. The work of the HR Business Partner takes place on many dimensions, such as, strategic, tactical and operational level, Management Team, executives and employees, and (iii) projects and standard activities. In addition, this function plays a central role in the already implemented change to organize the Business Units (Architecture and Mobility) separately including the desired culture change. In addition, together with the HR team, you ensure that the personnel and payroll administration is in the right place manner is carried out in accordance with current legislation and regulations and developments in the market.

What are you going to do

As an HR Business Partner at Euramax you are the sparring partner for management and employees when it comes to various HR matters. In particular, you perform the following activities:
  • You advise the Management Team, the General Managers and the executives. You are the sparring partner in the field of the roll-out of the ‘People’ strategy, HR issues, development and recruitment;
  • You initiate, lead and support various HR improvement projects;
  • You connect with our employees and propagate the Euramax values, including the giving feedback;
  • You are responsible – in collaboration with our regular recruitment partners – for the recruitment & selection of new employees;
  • You are the senior within the HR team when it comes to more complex employee issues;
  • You identify training needs among our employees and, in collaboration with HR team the right lines to continue developing employees;
  • You optimize and monitor the current HR procedures and processes together with your HR colleagues.

What do you bring

  • You have an HBO education in the field of HRM and at least 5 years of relevant work experience including experience with (supporting) project management;
  • You are enterprising and have a proactive attitude;
  • You are result-oriented and have persuasiveness;
  • You are analytical, you recognize problems and their possible causes and you come up with solution directions. You see coherence between different topics and you retain thereby the overview;
  • You are able to communicate effectively on the basis of facts with and between the stakeholders at all levels;
  • You are decisive while at the same time being sensitive to the different interests in the organisation.
